It’s a combination of missing you and just hearing stuff from home.
Tu me manques trop, mon coeur, mais nous nous reverrons bientôt. :( What’s going on at home?
Je sais. Mais il semble trop long jusque-là mon amour. Well my parents got kicked out of the apartment by someone, [I have a feeling I know who] and I’ve been trying to send them the bit of money that I have to help them find a new place but I’m not sure it’ll make any difference. Honestly.. I just don’t want them to end up in a bad situation.
Je ressens la même manière. <3 Oh really? :( Do you need any help? Do they, other than what you can do? I don’t want you to have to worry, so I’ll try to help if I can. (If you’d let me.) I don’t want them in a bad situation either, because they’re your family.

You’d help my family? That would mean a lot to me, I can’t entirely help them financially all the time since I’d have to sell a few things in order to have the money to help them out.
He does, it’s been hard on him too since he’s been writing me letters to ask what’s up.
Of course I would. I mean, I can’t do a lot by myself, but I can always send them what I can. And I’m sure my parents would help if we asked, too. I don’t want you to have to sell all your things, after all. <3
